Kéoni Consulting in Europe seeks a highly skilled Splunk expert to strengthen the log collection team. You will configure Universal Forwarders, Heavy Forwarders, and HEC, and deploy via CI/CD pipelines.

You will optimize CIM models, TAs, and indexes, build efficient parsers, manage log volumes, and implement bounce and deduplication strategies while applying RBAC security best practices. Fluent French and professional English are required; candidates should show expert Splunk admin capabilities

They must have a high level of Splunk Admin experience and excellent skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: – Ensure log collection by configuring the HF/UF/HEC/DBconnect components – Use CI/CD pipelines to deploy the configuration – Utilize the CIM model and TAs provided by Splunk They must have a thorough understanding of Universal Forwarders, Heavy Forwarders, and input configuration (e.g., TCP, UDP, files, scripts) to guarantee reliable and efficient data ingestion. They must be proficient in index optimization, configuring indexes.conf and transforms.conf, and using knowledge objects to ensure fast searches and effective alerts. They must be proficient in creating efficient parsers using props.conf and transforms.conf to properly structure collected data and optimize indexing. Furthermore, a strong understanding of log volume management, potential deduplication, and the implementation of bounce mechanisms (heavy forwarders, parsing queue) ensures a constant and relevant feed to the Splunk instance. Finally, a solid knowledge of Splunk security best practices (RBAC) is essential.
