Greif is seeking a Plastic Fabrication Operator to support routine production tasks in our Chalon facility. The role requires following prints and specifications, measuring parts with precision, and maintaining quality records.

You will contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient production area and collaborate with a small team to meet daily output targets. Typically, a high school diploma is required with up to 2 years of relevant experience.

• Operate routine production machinery according to provided prints and specs.
• Produce the required quantity within established tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure conformance.
• Maintain logs of units produced and report errors or rejects.
• Inspect equipment prior to use; perform basic adjustments and maintenance.
• Follow safety regulations and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge And Skills

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
