Job summary

Red Hat France is seeking a Consultant focused on Red Hat Cloud Products to join in Puteaux, France. You will deliver infrastructure on OpenShift, lead on-site implementations, and help customers realize practical cloud solutions.

You will work with Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualisation, and OpenShift AI, collaborating across teams to meet timelines while mentoring customers and driving automation and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on infrastructural projects.
• 2+ years of expertise with OpenShift or underlying components like Kubernetes and Docker.
• 2+ years of IT automation with Ansible.
• Experience GitOps with ArgoCD, RHACM, Helm, git and Kustomize.
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, virtualization and security.
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially in technical documentation.
• Ability to study independently, learn quickly, and apply new ideas.
• Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation.
• Excellent communication in English and French; willingness to travel across the region.

About the Job

The Red Hat Consulting team seeks a Consultant focused on Red Hat Cloud Products to join us in Puteaux in France. In this role, you will specialise in delivering infrastructure services on top of the OpenShift platform, you'll lead the on-site implementation of Red Hat’s technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation and Red Hat OpenShift AI. You'll play a key role in the enterprise development of our customers, helping make our solutions practical and workable for their businesses. You'll work to gain an understanding of customer infrastructure and business needs, make recommendations that resolve their issues, and help them make strategic decisions.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject‑matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements
• Understand industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting the better methods to obtain solutions
• Implement and integrate Red Hat's open and hybrid cloud solutions including Red Hat OpenShift and other Red Hat's offerings
• Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals
• Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including ticket or bug management
• Mentor and share your knowledge with customers
• Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud life cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market
• Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods

What you will bring

• 4+ years of experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on infrastructural projects
• 2+ years of experience with advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or underlying components like Kubernetes and Docker
• 2+ years of experience in IT automation with Ansible
• Experience of GitOps, with tools like ArgoCD, RHACM, Helm, git and Kustomize
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, virtualization and security
• Good written and verbal communication skills in particular technical documentation
• Ability to study on your own, learn quickly, and put new ideas into practice
• Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation
• Excellent communication skills in English and French
• Availability to travel across the region

Skills that will be considered a plus

• VMware experience
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
• Working experience with DevOps and agile processes
