Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Site Quality Engineer for its Caen (Normandie) site. The role requires an onsite presence five days a week and focuses on quality excellence during site execution across France and international projects.

You will lead quality processes, train site teams and contractors, oversee inspections, manage non-conformities, and report KPI-driven performance to stakeholders in a dynamic global environment. Fluency in French and English is required.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site quality, operational quality, or EPC project environments.
• Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience within the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Willingness to relocate for long-term assignments in France and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the deployment and execution of site quality processes and tools, ensuring compliance with customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Train and support site teams and contractors on quality standards and quality management systems.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and quality control activities during civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning phases.
• Manage non-conformities, deviations, punch lists, and corrective action plans through to closure.
• Provide clear visibility of project quality performance through KPIs and stakeholder reporting.
• Support internal and supplier audits while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, and customers to ensure safe, compliant, and successful project delivery.
