Intermountain Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Cancer Center team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. The role focuses on comprehensive medication management, verification of treatment plans, and support for sterile compounding in an oncology setting.

The position offers 32 hours per week with 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shifts. Candidates should have a PharmD or equivalent, an active license, and oncology experience or strong interest in cancer care.

Formación

• Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree mandatory.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of practice and ability to dispense controlled substances.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with all phases of pharmacy services under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist the pharmacist in collecting clinical and patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders and perform compounding per site procedures and policies.
• Ensure supervision and accuracy checks by pharmacists and know when to escalate tasks.
• Maintain medication inventories including controlled substances and 340B/charging management.
• Package and label medications accurately to minimize waste.
• Ensure pharmacy cleanliness and orderliness at the site.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
