The OECD Internship Programme invites students to work alongside policy professionals at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris, with opportunities to contribute to research, data analysis, communications, and policy development across many areas. Internships are available year-round and can be completed in person, remotely, or in a hybrid format, depending on team needs.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme.
• Field of study should be relevant to OECD work.
• Minimum internship duration of one month.
• Excellent command of English or French (OECD languages).
• Working knowledge or willingness to learn the second official language (English or French).
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

The OECD Internship Programme offers students the opportunity to work alongside international policy experts and specialists at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Interns contribute to research, policy development, data analysis, communications, and administrative functions across a wide range of policy areas. Internships are available year-round and can be completed in person, remotely, or in a hybrid format, depending on the team’s needs.

• Monthly living allowance of €1,000 for interns based in Paris.
• Gain hands-on experience in an internationally recognized intergovernmental organization.
• Work with policy experts on global issues such as AI, climate change, education, trade, and governance.
• Build analytical, research, and professional communication skills.
• Expand your international network by collaborating with government officials and global experts.

• Paid annual leave of 2.5 working days per full month plus French public holidays.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be enrolled in a full-time accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme throughout the entire internship.
• Field of study should be relevant to the work of the OECD.
• Must be available for a minimum internship duration of one month.
• Excellent command of English or French (the OECD’s official languages).
• Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the second official language (English or French).
• Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and IT skills.
• Good drafting, research, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
• Online courses or non-degree programmes are not eligible.
