Join Météo-France in Toulouse to contribute to ocean biogeochemistry modeling within the CYCL-ESM effort. You will develop and validate the PISCES-simple framework, engage with the community, and drive scientific publications on ocean carbon cycle modeling.

The role is a 24-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of remote work up to 3 days per week, and requires a PhD or equivalent in climate/ocean science with strong programming and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred in climate/ocean science with biogeochemistry experience.
• Experience in marine biogeochemistry modeling and ocean climate runs.
• Proficiency in Fortran or other structured languages; strong Python/R skills.

Responsabilités

• Advance PISCES-simple development and validation against observations.
• Apply model results to global climate modeling platforms (IPSL/CNRM).
• Collaborate with IPSL/CMCC/other laboratories; publish findings.
