Job summary

IXO Inc. seeks a Senior NDT Interpreter to assess radiographs, UT-PAUT scans, and MT/PT indications within oil, gas, petrochemical, and power settings. The role requires precise dispositioning using established codes and rigorous documentation.

Preferred is ASNT or ISO9712 Level II/III certification with 8+ years of direct interpretation experience, plus familiarity with ASME V/VIII/XI, API 510/570/653/1104, and AWS D1.1. Remote work is available with US-location preferences.

Job description

Work you will do

• Assess radiographs, ultrasonic/PAUT scans and magnetic-particle or penetrant indications.
• Apply weld/component acceptance criteria and document technically defensible dispositions.
• Review thermography or remote-visual footage when it fits your methods, resolving ambiguous indications with peers.

Background and scope

• Senior NDT interpretation
• Evaluate authentic or authorized inspection evidence across oil/gas, petrochemical and power contexts.
• Preferred: active ASNT or ISO9712 Level II/III certification in the relevant RT/UT-PAUT/MT/PT method and 8• years direct interpretation.
• Knowledge of ASME V/VIII/XI, API510/570/653/1104 and AWS D1.1 as applicable; precise accept/reject reasoning.
• Thermography/RVI experience is an additional advantage.
• Remote; US location is preferred, not mandatory.

Pay and engagement

Track pay: $74 • $116/hr USD. IXO will agree the applicable track, scope, acceptance criteria and schedule with you before work begins. Stated availability is for planning; applying does not guarantee an assignment.
