Halian is seeking five Network Engineers to join an EU Institution based in Strasbourg. The role covers setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting FortiGate and Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco ACI, F5 load balancers, and related network cloud technologies.

Candidates should have solid cloud experience, an understanding of subnetting and VLANs, and good English communication. Experience in large organizations and familiarity with change management processes (ServiceNow) are valued.

Qualifications

• Solid Cloud experience.
• Networking basics understood (IP subnetting and VLANs).
• Experience in large organizations (banking, military, or service providers).
• Change management experience; ServiceNow; firewall rules lifecycle management.
• Firewall knowledge: Checkpoint and FortiGate; Security GIS skills.
• Experience with ACI or basic knowledge.
• Good communication and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of FortiGate Firewalls;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Checkpoint Firewalls;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco ACI;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of F5 load balancers;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Certes Technologies;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Network cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Solid Cloud experience
• Networking basics understanding. Simple like ip subnetting and vlans
• Experience working in big organizations - banking sector, military or service providers.
• Change management experience, ServiceNow tool, firewall rules life cycle management.
• Firewalls: checkpoint /FortiGate knowledge. Security GIS skills.
• Experience with ACI or basic knowledge.
• Good communication and English skills.
