AIR SUPPORT is seeking an NDT technician for its Pujaudran site to perform penetrant and/or magnetic particle inspections using approved methods. You will write inspection reports, issue conformity certificates, and carry out periodic process checks while ensuring traceability of actions throughout the equipment lifecycle.

You will also identify malfunctions, propose improvements, and author NDT work instructions for new equipment development.

Qualifications

• Certification in NDT: COFREND-COSAC for Penetrant Testing (L1/L2) or Magnetic Particle Testing (L1/L2)
• Strong knowledge of materials technology for aerospace NDT
• Organized, rigorous, proactive and good communication

Salary Depending on profile and experience

Reporting to the workshop manager, you will carry out NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) operations according to the appropriate method, penetrant testing and/or magnetic particle testing, in accordance with the technical documentation and all regulatory requirements.

Specifically

Your daily tasks will involve performing part inspections using the appropriate method, writing inspection reports containing the results, and issuing sanctions and certificates of conformity. You will also carry out periodic process checks in accordance with internal specifications.

Furthermore, you will ensure the traceability of actions performed throughout the equipment’s lifecycle in the workshops and identify malfunctions in your area to propose improvement solutions.

Finally, you will write NDT work instructions for implementing the required inspections during the development of new equipment.

Profile and personality

This position requires knowledge of materials technology, techniques, and specific requirements for non-destructive testing in the aerospace industry. Therefore, you must hold COFREND-COSAC certification in Penetrant Testing and/or Magnetic Particle Testing, levels 1 and 2.

Beyond your technical skills, your personality will be a real asset. Possessing strong organizational skills, you are rigorous and responsible. Dynamic and flexible, you are autonomous and proactive. You also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

This is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week over 4.5 days) at our Pujaudran site.
