Aix-Marseille Université’s IUSTI laboratory seeks a Postdoc in geography/computer science to support flood risk modelling in Cambodia. The project collects GIS data and develops image processing algorithms for hydraulic models with SAR and optical imagery.

PhD or equivalent within 3 years, Python proficiency, GIS data knowledge; English fluency required, French helpful for collaboration and reporting in French/English.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field within 3 years.
• Proficiency in Python and algorithms.
• Data processing and geographic data knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in English; French knowledge is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Collect multi-source GIS data for the study areas.
• Develop image processing and GIS-based hydraulic models.
• Collaborate with AMU and partner institutions; report in French and English.
