Yubo, a Social Discovery app, is seeking a Mobile Product Designer to co-lead a Product Squad in Paris. You will shape strategy, design experiments, and drive end-to-end initiatives impacting growth, retention and monetization.

You'll collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Brand Marketing, Data, and Trust & Safety to solve user problems and influence business outcomes, building mobile-first experiences for iOS and Android.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of experience designing digital products.
• Experience in consumer mobile apps preferred.
• Strong visual design skills with solid product thinking.
• Proficient at using data, research and user feedback to guide decisions.
• Clear communicator of design rationale to all stakeholders.
• Collaborative with Product and Engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead product design projects from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Brand Marketing, Data Analysts, Legal and Trust & Safety teams.
• Contribute to product strategy, experimentation, and roadmap discussions.
• Design mobile-first experiences for iOS and Android with accessibility and visual quality.
• Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into thoughtful product experiences.
• Use analytics, feedback, and competitive insights to formulate design decisions.
• Create prototypes and test concepts quickly to validate ideas.
• Help evolve and maintain Yubo’s design system, ensuring consistency across the product.
• Advocate for high-quality user experiences while remaining pragmatic about delivery and iteration.

About This Role

As a Mobile Product Designer, you will co‑lead a Product Squad, shaping product strategy, designing experiments, and delivering end‑to‑end initiatives that impact growth, retention, and monetization. You will work with Product Management, Engineering, Brand Marketing, Data, and Trust & Safety to solve meaningful user problems and influence business outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Design mobile‑first experiences for iOS and Android with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and visual quality
• Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into thoughtful product experiences
• Use analytics, feedback, and competitive insights to formulate design decisions
• Create prototypes and test concepts quickly to validate ideas
• Help evolve and maintain Yubo’s design system, ensuring consistency across the product
• Advocate for high‑quality user experiences while remaining pragmatic about delivery and iteration

Who You Are

• 3–4+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within consumer mobile applications
• Comfortable owning projects from problem definition through launch
• Strong visual design skills combined with solid product thinking
• Proficient at using data, research, and user feedback to guide decisions
• Clear communicator of design rationale to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Collaborative with Product and Engineering teams
• Adaptive in a fast‑moving environment where priorities evolve
• Bold in making confident design calls and defending them
• User‑centric design mindset
• Experience with social, community, or consumer subscription products is a plus

Within a Month, You Will

• Get familiar with Yubo’s product, users, business model, and design principles
• Build relationships with your Product Squad and key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data, Brand, Trust & Safety
• Understand current product priorities, ongoing experiments, and major user journeys
• Learn how we use data and research to make product decisions
• Start contributing to design discussions and smaller initiatives

Within 6 Months, You Will

• Own design of your squad’s key initiatives end‑to‑end, from discovery through polished, shipped mobile experiences
• Use data, user insight, and experimentation to frame problems, validate design decisions, and measure impact post‑launch
• Contribute beyond your squad to the broader design team, raising the craft bar, strengthening our design system, and influencing product decisions company‑wide
