Job summary

CrowdGen by Appen invites you to join Project Melora - French Voice Recording. Record short, one-sided calls in French to help build natural voice AI. You will use made-up details, and sessions are 1–2 minutes each with a few minutes total.

Pay is $3.70 per QA-approved session, with at least 4 sessions to be paid and up to 10 sessions possible. The role is project-based, remote, and Independent Contractor; you will signup and receive an onboarding email.

Qualifications

• Can read and follow short instructions in French
• Own an iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, or 17 Pro Max
• Have a quiet indoor space to record (no TV, traffic, fans, or other voices)
• Can complete 4-10 calls, each 1-2 minutes (5 minutes max)
• Can spread calls out: no more than 3 per day, at least 3 hours apart, at different times of day across several days
• Comfortable improvising a natural, unscripted call that follows a 6-step flow: greeting, ID verification, describing the issue, pausing for the agent's reply, resolution, and closing
• Will use only fake names and account or order numbers (no real personal information)
• Willing to be recorded, give recorded consent, sign an NDA, and follow project guidelines

Pay

You need at least 4 approved sessions to be paid ($14.80), and you can do up to 10 ($37.00).

Sessions that fail QA don't count toward payment.

We recommend doing all 10 to get the full payout.
