Job summary

Criteo is seeking a driven student in their final year of a BSc/MSc to work on data-driven recommendation systems. You will collaborate with a mentor, craft scalable algorithms, and ship code used by millions of users.

You'll apply statistical learning techniques, process large datasets, and help improve models while gaining exposure to product-facing ML in a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Currently in the last year of a BSc/MSc in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science).
• Experience with traditional and modern statistical learning techniques and data processing proficiency.
• Implementation experience with languages such as Python, Scala, Java, C*.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your mentor to drive your project from design to production-ready code.
• Develop high-performance algorithms and turn large data sets into actionable insights.
• Explore machine learning models to improve product recommendations and models in production.
• Extract product attributes from advertiser information and contribute to AI fairness studies.
