Alfasigma is a privately held global healthcare company with a strong focus on GI health, expanding its presence in France. We seek a Medical Advisor on a fixed-term assignment (Sept 2026–May 2027) reporting to the Medical Director to lead medical launch activities for a new indication in France.

  • Master's degree or equivalent scientific qualification.
  • Proven experience launching pharmaceutical products, ideally within specialty care.
  • Experience supporting a Phase IV launch environment.
  • Strong scientific credibility and ability to engage effectively with external experts and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

  • Act as the medical and scientific expert for the therapeutic area, supporting cross-functional teams including Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, and Sales.
  • Lead planning, implementation, and oversight of Phase IV studies and post-launch evidence generation activities.
  • Develop and deliver scientific content, training, and medical education initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and scientific experts.
  • Lead and execute medical initiatives supporting the launch, including advisory boards, congress activities, expert meetings, and non-promotional projects.
  • Coordinate investigator-sponsored research and support company-sponsored studies.
  • Review and approve scientific materials and ensure the accuracy, balance, and integrity of scientific communications.
  • Monitor scientific developments and provide strategic medical insights to support business objectives.
  • Manage assigned projects and budgets while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Fixed-Term Contract | September/October 2026 - May 2027

The Medical Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful launch of a new indication in France during a fixed-term assignment (September-October 2026 to May 2027) and will report to the Medical Director.

Among other responsibilities, the Medical Advisor will lead key medical launch activities, drive scientific engagement with external stakeholders, support evidence generation and communication, and ensure medical readiness across the organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role will help shape launch strategy and execution, contributing to the successful introduction of the new indication in the French market while upholding the highest standards of scientific excellence, ethics, and compliance.

Scope of the Role
  • Support the development and execution of the national medical strategy for the therapeutic area.

Lead and support Phase IV evidence generation activities, ensuring post-launch medical initiatives contribute to data generation, clinical adoption, and long-term indication success.

  • Provide scientific leadership for a key indication launch and associated medical activities.
  • Drive evidence generation, medical education, stakeholder engagement, and scientific partnerships.
  • Ensure all activities are compliant, ethical, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Your Role

Who You Are
  • Master's degree or equivalent scientific qualification.
  • Proven experience launching pharmaceutical products, ideally within specialty care - ideally rheumatology - is considered a plus.
  • Experience supporting a Phase IV launch environment is considered a plus.
  • Strong scientific credibility and the ability to engage effectively with external experts and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
