TRACTEBEL is seeking a Mechanical Study Engineer to join their Mechanical North France Team in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine. You will focus on quality control, inspection, and expertise in manufacturing processes within projects that impact nuclear applications.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in the nuclear sector. Responsibilities also include procurement of mechanical equipment and managing repair activities. Competitive salary and flexible hybrid work options offered.

Mechanical Study Engineer – Mechanical North France Team

Your Key Responsibilities

• Expertise in mechanical components and related Codes & Standards.
• Procurement and qualification of mechanical equipment and nuclear fuel.
• Quality surveillance and manufacturing follow‑up.
• Management of repair and replacement activities.
• In‑service inspection and ageing management.
• Fuel quality control and handling.
• Seismic and structural integrity analyses.
• Examination and approval of client/contractor technical manufacturing files of valves, pumps, heat exchangers, piping, etc.
• Provide technical expertise on manufacturing, welding, and metallurgy.
• Support organisation with quality control expertise and lead quality control on projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years in the nuclear or industrial sector.
• Proficiency in manufacturing processes and mechanical pressure equipment.
• Knowledge of operations of nuclear power plants, EDF processes, welding processes, and metallurgy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of standards: RCC‑M, RSE‑M, ASME, CODAP, CODETI.
• Fluent in French and English (B2+).
• Communication skills; autonomous, proactive, flexible, stress resistant, rigorous.
