Job Description

The Marketing Director France & Benelux is a key member of the Country Leadership Team, responsible for leading the strategic and operational marketing agenda across the full Allergan Aesthetics portfolio. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping brand strategies, driving demand, and enabling seamless commercial execution through strong cross‑functional collaboration and a deep understanding of the customer journey.

To be successful in this role, the individual must bring not only strategic marketing expertise but also proven experience in commercial or sales roles, ensuring that brand plans are closely connected to customer realities and field execution. The Director will lead a team of brand managers and digital experts while partnering with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, OEC/Legal, Finance, Business Excellence and Area/International teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Brand & Portfolio Leadership
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans across the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio (Injectables, Body Contouring), ensuring alignment with global guidance and local market needs.
  • Analyze market data, competitor dynamics, and customer insights to refine brand positioning and tactics.
  • Lead portfolio prioritization, innovation roadmaps, and new product launches.
Sales & Commercial Integration
  • Partner closely with the Sales organization to ensure marketing strategies are executable, customer‑relevant, and performance‑driven.
  • Collaborate on campaign deployment, training, objection handling, and tools to enhance field effectiveness.
  • Participate in S&OP, forecasting, and pricing discussions to ensure marketing aligns with business goals.
Omnichannel & Digital Engagement
  • Lead the development and execution of omnichannel strategies, including digital content, CRM campaigns, paid media, and social platforms.
  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously optimize HCP and patient engagement.
  • Coordinate with Business Excellence and Digital teams to ensure performance tracking and ROI measurement.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Inspire and manage a team of marketing and digital professionals across France and Benelux.
  • Promote a culture of agility, creativity, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Drive local marketing capabilities and succession planning.
Regional & Global Alignment
  • Represent the affiliate in Area and International marketing forums.
  • Customize and localize global campaigns while providing feedback and best practices from the field.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in marketing, Business, or Life Sciences
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience, including at least 2-3 years in a commercial or field sales role (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action and deliver results in highly competitive environments
  • Deep knowledge of omnichannel engagement, digital marketing, and CRM
  • Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, or specialty pharma is a strong plus
  • Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

From a practical point of view and daily work life: we are currently located in Courbevoie; however, AbbVie France will be relocating to 5/13 Bd de la République, 92100 Boulogne‑Billancourt by the end of 2025. The new premises along the Seine will host the France and Europe teams, both therapeutic and aesthetics, in two newly renovated seven‑story buildings within a campus of four buildings.

Each floor will be equipped with meeting rooms and relaxation areas to promote collaboration and informal exchanges. The premises will also have outdoor spaces, including a green inner courtyard and a private rooftop with a view of the Seine, exclusively for AbbVie employees.

Numerous services will be offered on‑site: car and motorcycle parking with electric charging stations, bicycle storage, company restaurant, gym, as well as concierge service.

Located in a dynamic and lively district with many amenities, our future offices will be easily accessible by public transport with subway line 9, RER C, and buses 126, 189 and 289. In the future, it will also be accessible by subway line 15.
