Lazard seeks an intern for March 2027 in Paris for 6 months, within LazardNext handling small- and mid-cap M&A transactions. You will assist origination, execution, and coverage activities while gaining hands-on exposure to live deals.

The role targets final-year students or Master’s candidates in Corporate Finance/Financial Engineering with initial finance experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Final-year student in a top Business School or Engineering School with focus on Corporate Finance/Financial Engineering.
• First internship experience in the financial sector (investment banking, PE, audit, corporate finance, banking, etc.).
• Excellent command of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Bilingual in French and English.

We are seeking an intern from March 2027 for a period of 6 months. This position is based in Paris.

We’ll Trust You To

• Origination: preparing pitch materials, monitoring investors and market dynamics
• Execution: preparing process documents, managing the process, building analyses and financial models
• Coverage: conducting in‑depth research and preparing papers on the various sectors covered and their companies

You’ll Need To Have

• Final‑year student or in the second part of a gap year at a top Business School or Engineering School, or enrolled in a Master’s degree (Master 2) with a focus on Corporate Finance/Financial Engineering
• First internship experience in the financial sector (investment banking, private equity, audit, corporate finance department, banking, etc.)
• An excellent command of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Bilingual in French and English
