Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking reliable drivers for a large-scale mapping data collection project. You will operate client-provided vehicles with mapping equipment, travel to zones, and stay on assignment in hotel-based settings.

Role requires 5+ years driving, comfort with vans/trucks, GPS familiarity, and a safety-first approach. You will coordinate with field teams and ensure secure handling of vehicles and data across routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience
• At least 2 years of professional driving (taxi, delivery, logistics)
• Good English
• Experience driving larger vehicles (vans, trucks) preferred
• Defensive, calm and safety-oriented driving style
• Comfortable in high-traffic environments
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic in working country
• Polite, professional demeanor with the public
• Basic technical and mechanical knowledge (e.g., tires, gauges)
• Willingness to travel and stay on assignment for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Safely operate client-provided vehicles with mapping and data collection equipment
• Collect mapping data within assigned zones per guidelines
• Handle and protect client vehicles, devices and equipment
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and upkeep
• Identify safe local parking locations for security
• Park, cover and safeguard the vehicle daily
• Report incidents in a professional manner
• Coordinate daily activities with Camp Coordinator
• Communicate technical or operational issues promptly
• Meet daily/weekly delivery targets with project coordinators
• Travel long distances and work in hotel mode during assignments
• Maintain inventory and device logs in the system
