Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking reliable drivers for a large-scale mapping data collection project in Europe. You will operate client-provided vehicles with specialized mapping gear, travel to zones, and work independently while coordinating with field coordinators.

Role requires a strong driving background, safety focus, and ability to stay away from home on extended assignments. Hotel-based travel and high-quality data collection are core expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• At least 2 years of professional driving (taxi, delivery, logistics, courier).
• Good English.
• Experience driving larger vehicles (vans, trucks) preferred.
• Defensive, calm, safety-oriented driving style.
• Comfortable with high-traffic and stressful conditions.
• Familiarity with GPS devices/navigation tools.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in the working country.
• Polite, professional demeanor when interacting with the public.
• Basic mechanical knowledge (e.g., tires, gauges).

Responsabilités

• Safely operate client-provided vehicles with mapping and data collection gear.

• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and upkeep.
• Research safe local parking and secure the vehicle daily.
• Report incidents and coordinate with Camp Coordinator.
• Meet daily and weekly delivery targets with project coordinators.
• Travel long distances and work in hotel mode during assignments.
• Maintain inventory and device logs in the designated system.

Role Overview

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused professional drivers to support a large-scale mapping data collection project. Drivers will operate client-provided vehicles equipped with specialized mapping equipment to collect high-quality street-level data across assigned zones. This role requires strong driving skills, technical awareness, and the ability to work independently while coordinating closely with field coordinators. Travel and extended assignments away from home (hotel-based work) are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate client-provided vehicles equipped with mapping and data collection equipment
• Collect mapping data within assigned zones efficiently and in compliance with project guidelines
• Handle and protect all client-provided vehicles, devices, and equipment
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and basic upkeep
• Research and identify safe local parking locations to ensure vehicle and equipment security
• Securely park, cover, and safeguard the vehicle daily at designated locations
• Report and handle incidents, including traffic accidents and public interactions, in a professional manner
• Coordinate daily activities, assignments, and issue resolution with the Camp Coordinator
• Communicate technical, mechanical, or operational issues promptly
• Meet daily and weekly delivery targets in collaboration with project coordinators
• Travel long distances as required and work in "hotel mode" during assignments
• Maintain accurate inventory and device logs in the designated system or application

Requirements
