Description du poste

Datadog is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Org Management & Governance (OMG) team. This team plays a pivotal role in enabling customers to manage Datadog at scale.

As the EM for OMG, you'll guide a high-impact team of engineers responsible for the Datadog Teams product, a foundational capability that allows customers to map their org structure, assign ownership, and route alerts to the right team. Beyond Teams, the OMG team also partners on broader governance initiatives including tagging enforcement, access policy frameworks, and support for multi-org customers with complex compliance needs.

At Datadog, we value our office culture—the relationships and collaboration it fosters and the creativity it inspires. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that fits them best.

  • Invest in team members' career development through regular feedback and support.
  • Drive the technical roadmap in collaboration with your team and product managers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and improving customer experience.
  • Engage with complex technical problems and work with your team to develop well-defined, actionable plans.
  • Stay connected with your team's systems and be hands-on when needed to unblock your team by writing code or troubleshooting issues.
  • Foster an engineering culture that prioritizes operational excellence, ensuring deliverables are well-engineered and set new standards for quality and reliability.
  • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Datadog's engineering management team.

Who You Are:

  • You have proven experience managing teams that build and operate business-critical systems.
  • You have demonstrated ability in designing, building, and operating distributed systems to solve problems at scale.
  • You are an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively through complex technical problems with diverse stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, able to adapt strategies and solutions to emerging challenges and opportunities.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and eager to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Internal mentorship and buddy programs for networking
  • An inclusive company culture with access to our Community Guilds (employee resource groups)
