Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Field Engineering Manager in Paris to lead a skilled team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers. You will drive value-based solutions in collaboration with Sales, mentor high performers, and strengthen partnerships with customers across large organisations.

You will help shape strategy, communicate complex ideas, and foster a culture aligned with Databricks' values while expanding the company’s regional presence in the market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling pre-sales or technical field organisations.
• Fluency in English and native-level French.
• Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, or Data Science (consulting experience is a plus).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - fluent in English and native-level French.
• Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, or Data Science (consulting experience is a plus).
• Passion for data, AI, and cloud technologies and the ability to articulate their business value clearly.

Note: Location for the role is in Paris (i.e. within commutable distance).
