Job summary

Avient Corporation, Tossiat site in France, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department, ensure equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement of maintenance systems and training programs.

The role coordinates work orders and PMs, manages spare parts inventory, enforces safety and plant standards, and leads proactive maintenance initiatives to reduce breakdowns and improve uptime across all plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work to Maintenance Associates and PM tasks, coordinating resources.
• Purchases and maintains inventory of parts and tools for maintenance.
• Improves reliability and uptime through proactive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Prevents recurring breakdowns with a fix-it-once mindset and safety-compliant practices.
• Schedules and prioritizes work to meet due dates and adheres to Avient standards.
• Documents maintenance activities and maintains E-Maintenance records for easy retrieval.
• Leads maintenance training programs and tracks performance improvements.
• Implement maintenance standardization and manage activities in the Maintenance Shop.
• Supports safety, health, and environmental guidelines and company principles.
