SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting. You will lead contractor coordination, manage upgrades for the division, and ensure reliable equipment operation across plants.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Maintenance Engineering or have 8+ years of supervisory experience, with strong problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maintenance Engineering or equivalent; 8+ years as Maintenance Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Ability to pass nationwide background check and drug screen.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage contractor relationships and coordinate maintenance activities for expansion and projects.
• Perform repair and preventative maintenance of equipment in a manufacturing environment; troubleshoot electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist set up new machines and upgrade manufacturing processes; maintain plant electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair drives and power transmission equipment; perform pump repair and pipe fitting.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Project Managers to meet deadlines.

Your tasks

• Manage contractor relationships and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring effective support for new division expansion and development projects.
• Perform repair/preventative maintenance of equipment in a manufacturing environment and troubleshoot and repair electric, air systems, and hydraulic mechanical systems
• Help set up new machines implement upgrades to support the manufacturing process and maintain all plant electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanic drives and power transmission equipment and perform pump repair and pipe fitting as required.
• Work with General Manager and Project Managers to meet deadlines.

Your profile

• Degree in Maintenance Engineering or 8 plus years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in Manufacturing.
• Ability to pass nationwide background check and drug screen.
• Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
