Freelance Maintenance Technician (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation) - Brittany, France
We are recruiting freelance maintenance technicians to support a highly automated industrial production site located in Brittany. This site is a center of excellence in its field, combining traditional know-how with Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, advanced machinery, and data-driven performance tools.

As part of an on-site maintenance team, you will intervene across modern production lines and equipment. Your responsibilities include
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and/or automation issues
- Improving line reliability and performance through targeted technical interventions
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations
You’ll operate in an environment where precision, traceability, and performance are key priorities
- Automated and semi-automated production lines
- Mechanical systems, electrical installations, PLCs
- Industry 4.0 tools and modern machinery
This role is designed with freelancers in mind:
- Fixed shift options: morning, daytime, or afternoon
- Work 4 or 5 days per week, depending on availability
- On-site assignment with a collaborative team
- Possibility of recurring or extended missions
- Independent / freelance technician
- Technical background in maintenance, mechanics, electrotechnics, or automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously
