Aerofab Division of Tube Processing Corporation is seeking a machinist to set up and operate three to five axis mills and/or lathes to produce aerospace-grade parts within tight tolerances. You will verify parts against specifications and may help engineers develop new procedures.

Candidates should have experience with titanium, Inconel, and stainless steel, read router requirements, and follow safe work practices including PPE usage. FAA safety sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret router requirements.
• Experience machining metals such as titanium, Inconel, stainless steel.
• Must operate safely and wear PPE; lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Assist process engineers in developing work procedures as needed.

Position Overview: Performs set ups and operates three to five axis mills and/or lathes. Operates mills or lathes to produce required aerospace tolerances and meet production requirements.

Essential Job Functions

• Sets up and operates equipment such as mills or lathes to machine metal parts to specifications and verifies conformance of parts to specifications
• Has experience machining metals such as titanium, Inconel, and stainless steel
• Must follow work instructions to meet aerospace specifications. Product size can range from one inch to sixty-five inches
• May be required to assist process engineers in developing work procedures for new work

Requirements

• Must be U.S Citizen
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret router requirements
• Must operate in a safe manner and wear all required PPE
• Must have basic mathematical and reading skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Knowledge of G&M codes is beneficial
• This is a FAA Safety Sensitive position
