Lifted, an Upwork Company™ is seeking Home Consultants in Lyon for Airbnb Luxe property assessments. You will conduct in-person consultations, document property conditions, and produce structured evaluation reports using provided guidelines and templates.

Expect around 2 hours per visit, with variability by property size, and travel as needed. Compensation is per assignment, with base rates around 85–105 USD for a 1-bedroom home plus $5 USD for each additional bedroom, up to 8 bedrooms.

Lyon, FR - Strong Communicators Needed for Airbnb Luxe Home Consultant Project

• Contract

Join our program supporting Airbnb’s Luxe program in Lyon, France, as a Home Consultant and help uphold the exceptional quality and hospitality standards expected of the luxury homes featured in Airbnb’s Luxe offering.

As part of our Managed Services program, you will conduct in-person home assessments, document property conditions, capture photos, and provide detailed evaluation reports to support our luxury quality review process.

Home consultations typically take approximately 2 hours, with some variation depending on the size of the property.

Please note: This project operates on an as-needed basis. Assignment volume may fluctuate throughout the program and is not guaranteed. Some weeks may have higher activity levels, while others may be lighter depending on operational demand and market needs.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct in-person home consultations and property evaluations.
• Capture high-quality photos and document property conditions.
• Complete structured assessment reports based on your independent expert evaluation of each property, using provided guidelines and templates.
• Maintain professional, responsive communication and interactions with Hosts.
• Coordinate scheduling and availability through MediaBox and email.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports following each consultation.

Compensation Structure

This opportunity offers per-assignment compensation. Candidates are asked to propose their base rate for reviewing and submitting a report for a one-bedroom home.

Average base rates in this region generally range from $85 to $105 USD for a one-bedroom property.

An additional $5 USD per additional bedroom will be added to your proposed base rate, up to a maximum of eight bedrooms.

Base Compensation

Your proposed one-bedroom rate will serve as the base rate for all property sizes, with an additional $5 USD for each additional bedroom.

• 1 bedroom: Your proposed base rate
• 2 bedrooms: Base rate + $5
• 3 bedrooms: Base rate + $10
• 4 bedrooms: Base rate + $15
• 5 bedrooms: Base rate + $20
• 6 bedrooms: Base rate + $25
• 7 bedrooms: Base rate + $30
• 8 bedrooms or more: Base rate + $35 (the maximum applicable rate)

Travel Compensation

In addition to the consultation fee, consultants will receive travel compensation for each day they conduct an assessment. The amount will be based on the consultant’s distance from the assessment location.

• Relevant experience: A background in hospitality, customer service, interior design, real estate, or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Required device: You own a phone or tablet capable of completing reports and uploading photos.
• Excellent communication: You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Technical proficiency: You are comfortable using technology and can complete reports with a stable internet connection.
• Location: You reside within a one-hour driving distance of the job location for which you are applying.
