Job summary

The Exploration Company is building innovative aerospace technologies that move space transportation forward. We are developing a lunar lander and establishing a remote test site in the United Arab Emirates to perform propulsion testing and hopper flight demonstrations.

We seek an AIT MGSE Engineer to design, document, procure and commission MGSEs for the lunar lander, work with engineering and suppliers to meet timelines, verify loads, and ensure timely delivery and proper assembly.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (machine/structural design).
• At least 2 years CAD design + drafting (Siemens NX) and FE analysis (Hypermesh).
• Knowledge of machine design, manufacturability, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and timelines; design and deliver MGSEs for assembly or testing activities.
• Conceptualise, design (CAD with manufacturing drawings), procure and commission MGSEs.
• Confirm designs with mechanical analysis/hand calcs/proof tests for external loads.
