Job summary

Amazon Data Services France SAS is seeking Logistics Specialists to join our Data Center Logistics team. You will monitor inventory levels, receive parts, maintain records, and move shipments between locations while upholding safety and efficiency.

Fluency in English and French, experience in inventory control, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred. This role requires physical lifting and attention to detail in a fast-paced cloud infrastructure environment.

Key job responsibilities

Data Center Logistics Specialists monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities. They receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers. They will also be responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations. This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products. Logistics Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company. They also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.

Basic Qualifications

• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, French
• Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, stock control functions and reverse logistics

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Skills in creating reports and dashboards for inventory tracking and RMA Process
• Strong understanding of shipping,receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
• Be able to to demonstrate process improvement and operational efficiencies.
