Job summary

Commercial Bank & Trust is seeking a Loan Operations Analyst to join our Paris team. You will prepare and validate reports for Loan Operations and the Board, review data for accuracy, and support audits and process improvements.

The role requires an associate degree and 3–5 years in banking or loan operations, with advanced Excel and strong analytical skills. On-site work in Paris, with opportunities to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of banking or loan operations experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and data analysis.
• Understanding of financial statements and debit/credit entries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with Jack Henry, IBM Cognos Analytics, or Foxit PDF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and validate reports for Loan Operations, Lending Functions, and the Board of Directors.
• Review data and reports for accuracy, research discrepancies, and coordinate corrections.
• Serve as a resource for reporting, data analysis, and Loan Operations questions.
• Research and recommend new reports and process improvements to support better decision-making and efficiency.
• Manage assigned collateral insurance payments, correspondence, and exception reporting.
• Prepare insurance-related reports, spreadsheets, invoices, waivers, and supporting documentation.
• Process collateral loss, accident and health, and death claims as applicable.
• Assist with internal and external audits and examinations.
• Participate in departmental projects, system enhancements, and process improvements.
• Provide backup support for Loan Operations functions as needed.

• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, functions, PivotTables, charts, data validation, and data analysis.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and debit and credit entries.
• Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professionalism, tact, and a service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with others.
• Experience with Jack Henry, IBM Cognos Analytics, or Foxit PDF is a plus.
