Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks an Electromagnetic Hazards Lightning Direct Effects Engineer to join the EMH Lightning Direct Effects team. You will contribute to lightning protection strategies across aircraft programmes and development phases, collaborating with specialists in multiple European sites.

Formación

• Background in aeronautical, electrical engineering or physics.
• Experience with lightning direct effects or related field.
• Experience with laboratory testing and qualification.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team with strong communication.
• Proficient in English and French communication.

Responsabilidades

• Influence aircraft architectures for optimized lightning protection.
• Analyze system architectures for EMH protection and certification follow-up.
• Validate design against airworthiness requirements.
• Create and analyze requests for lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Drive R&T projects and develop the EM hazard protection strategy.
