OnTarget Communications seeks an Avionics B2 Engineer to ensure safety, reliability and performance of aircraft systems. This role is based in Switzerland, onsite, and focuses on certifying maintenance activities and technical leadership in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of base maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft, holds EASA Part-66 B2, is fluent in English, and has experience as certifying staff on type aircraft.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical base maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft.
• Fluent in English.
• 2+ years as Certifying Staff on type aircraft - Advantage.
• Working knowledge of 145 MRO and PO part 21 - Advantage.

Responsabilités

• Serve as certifying staff for maintenance activities.
• Oversee completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical guidance, diagnose faults, and carry out corrective actions.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with component repair, engineering and airworthiness teams.
• Support aircraft recovery operations and assist customers during AOG events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as certifying staff for maintenance activities within the client’s organization
• Oversee the completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including the review and execution of related operational work orders
• Provide technical guidance, diagnose faults, and carry out corrective actions to resolve aircraft issues
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and technical documentation
• Coordinate with internal component repair, engineering, and airworthiness departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance matters
• Support aircraft recovery operations and assist customers during AOG events when required

Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience in base maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft
• Holder of EASA Part‑66 Cat. B2
• Fluent in English
• 2+ years experience as Certifying Staff on type aircraft - Advantage
• Working knowledge of 145 MRO. and PO part 21 - Advantage
