We’re hiring, for the Mortainais’ healthcare center, a liberal general practitioner.

• Guaranteed patients: you will treat the inhabitants of the 4 interconnected communities (Mortain-Bocage, Romagny-Fontenay, Le Neufbourg and Saint-Barthélémy).
• Modern facilities, very latest equipments. The healthcare center, located in Mortain-Bocage’s village center, was unveiled on September 2022. Come and discover it in this video!
• Enjoying a flexible and efficient administration, thanks to a strengthened team spirit and shared medical records, guaranteeing cohesion and performance. 13 health professionals are currently on site: nurses, physiotherapists, chiropodists, osteopath and 3 other fellow general practitioners.

If you don’t know it yet, get ready to be blown away! You will discover a naturel jewel of Normandy, between groves, forest… and its famous 8.5“ high waterfall which is worth the journey! It is an ideal environment to enjoy many outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, hobbies…).

The Mortainais is also worth your interest. Apart from its schools, markets, sport clubs and shops, you will find many local and cultural animations as well, throughout the year.

Useful informations: 1h from Rennes and Caen ; 20 min. from Vire ; 50 min. from Mont-Saint-Michel and the sea.

What to expect

Your different missions will allow you to get directly involved in the improvement of the local healthcare services:

• Handling the general medicine consultations.
• Receiving patients of all ages and treat various pathologies.
• Orienting your patients towards specialized fellow health professionals when necessary.
• Updating your patients’ medical records.

Upon your arrival, you will be able to benefit from some aids from the interconnected communities depending on your needs and under certain conditions.

Mortain-Bocage being in a ZIP («Zone d'Interventions Prioritaires» i.e. Priority Intervention Zone) you will be able to apply for CAIM («Contrat d’Aide à l’Installation des Médecins» i.e. Contract to Assist Doctors in Setting Up Practice) and a majoration by the Regional Health Agency (ARS).

Your profile

Registered with your National Medical Association, you hold a medical degree and have the liberal general practitioner status.

You like human contact and show empathy.
