Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse is seeking a Satellite Test & Production Troubleshooting Lead to join the Test Engineering Department. You will diagnose and resolve production blockers related to tests, EGSE, and tooling, ensuring continuous satellite assembly on the production line.

The role requires 5+ years in satellite AIT or aerospace, strong RCA skills, and fluent English. You will interface between engineering and shop floor, coordinate maintenance, and drive test-flow

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Satellite Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT), aerospace, or complex industrial systems.
• Strong proficiency in Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), test architectures, network protocols, test software, and electrical instrumentation.
• Proven mastery of RCA and diagnostic skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve production blockers related to tests, EGSE, and investigation tooling.
• Coordinate maintenance and calibration plans for EGSE, tools, and test aids, maintaining documentation.
• Act as the operational interface between Test Engineering and shop-floor teams, supporting non-conformance investigations and resolutions.
• Drive continuous improvement of the manufacturing test flow and support test equipment commissioning/decommissioning.
