Arlequin seeks the first designer to build the design function from scratch, setting a premium visual language and a scalable design system for dense data interfaces. You will translate the founders’ product vision into cohesive UX while partnering closely with the CEO and future Head of Product.

Expect to shape design across data-heavy dashboards, ensure clarity for non-technical users, and elevate the product’s finish with strong typography and brand identity. On-site in Paris.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product design / art direction, including significant work on digital products (SaaS, platforms, tools).
• A portfolio with a strong identity, attention to detail, interfaces that stand out.
• Ability to conduct serious product UX in parallel: structuring journeys and making complexity readable.
• Design system experience: knowing how to create one from scratch and get developers to adopt it.
• Comfortable in early stage: autonomous, pragmatic, able to create the framework instead of waiting for it.
• Professional French and English.

Responsabilités

• Create the design function from scratch and establish art direction as the product's premium visual language.
• Define the visual language, the design system and how design works, in collaboration with the CEO and Head of Product.
• Work with engineering to ensure the UI remains clear for dense data interfaces.
• Maintain high visual finish while upholding strong UX thinking across dashboards and workflows.
