Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design and deliver secure, production-ready AI capabilities within a large enterprise tax platform hosted on Azure. The platform stacks .NET 8, Angular micro frontends, SQL Server, and Azure services.

You will architect and integrate advanced AI features, including LLM integrations with Azure OpenAI, robust RAG pipelines, and secure, async Python/FastAPI backends, with a focus on compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python and FastAPI experience
• Strong SQL Server and ORM expertise
• Deep Azure architecture knowledge
• Proven production LLM and RAG implementation experience
• Strong prompt engineering and tool-calling design
• Experience with event-driven systems and secure API design
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor)

Responsibilities

• Architect LLM integrations (Azure OpenAI) and design robust RAG pipelines
• Build secure, async back-end services using Python and FastAPI
• Ensure enterprise-grade security, PII protection and compliance
• Design scalable Azure-native architectures (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid)
• Implement AI observability and evaluation frameworks
• Drive performance tuning and SQL Server optimization
• Establish DevOps best practices and CI/CD standards
