Airbus UpNext SAS in Toulouse seeks a senior engineer to own active control system architecture and drive AI capabilities on the demonstrator platform. You will work with OAD, Flight Control, and Data Science to enable load alleviation and performance optimization, delivering flight-proven gains to future Airbus programs.

The role requires a Master’s/PhD in aerospace fields, hands-on AI/ML for physical systems, and a track record in flight test operations or hardware-in-the-loop validation, plus

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Automatic Control, Flight Physics, or Computational Sciences.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML for physical systems (surrogate modeling, CFD/loads neural networks, real-time data fusion).
• Experience in flight test operations, telemetry exploitation, or hardware-in-the-loop validation.
• Strong autonomy, strategic vision, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end Active Control System Architecture and roadmap.
• Lead AI deployment and coordinate with Airbus AI leaders.
• Collaborate with OAD, Flight Control Systems & Data Science to drive convergence.
• Communicate progress, test results, and AI strategy to executives.
