Job summary

Fairly Made is seeking a Product Specialist – Science & LCA in Paris to act as the Life Cycle Assessment expert. You will define what the LCA calculator should compute, own the LCA Engine roadmap, and collaborate with engineering to deliver modular dataset-driven improvements.

You will also lead scientific framework development, maintain documentation for audits, and communicate methodology changes to product, CRM, and sales teams. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Solid LCA expertise with in-depth knowledge of ISO 14040/44, PEF/PEFCR, EF 3.1/EF4.0.
• Knowledge of the French environmental cost framework is a strong plus.
• Ability to define functional units, system boundaries, allocation rules and default data.
• PhD or equivalent experience is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap of the LCA domain and validate with the Head of Product.
• Model new product categories and allocate data accordingly.
• Lead business QA: reference cases and test sets for the engine’s inputs/outputs.
• Represent Fairly Made in technical methodology groups and monitor standards.
• Document methodology changes and explain them to non-experts.
