Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse is seeking a Lab Test Mean Lead Engineer to join the Lab Test Means Design & Realization department.

You will act as the primary technical focal point for lab test means, perform cost estimations, coordinate hardware/software modifications, and lead level-2 engineering support.

Fluency in French and good command of technical English are required, with hands-on experience in test mean architecture or hardware-in-the-loop simulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in test mean architecture or hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
• Broad multi-system background including wiring, electrical/electronics and software integration.
• Hands-on expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting frameworks, familiarity with VCOM tools is a plus.
• Proven track record in technical coordination and small-scale project management (planning and estimation).
• Fluency in French required with good technical English.

• Act as the primary technical focal point for all engineering queries on your Lab Test Means perimeter.
• Perform cost estimations, scheduling baselines, and feasibility studies for upcoming test rig upgrades and modifications.
• Coordinate and verify hardware/software modifications and architectural corrections on rigs.
• Own level-2 engineering support, driving troubleshooting operations for hardware and software issues.
• Manage simulation models integration and safety compliance topics for rigs.

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Lab Test Mean Lead Engineer (f/m) to join our Lab Test Means Design & Realization department based in Toulouse, France.

Your challenges

• Act as the primary technical focal point for all engineering queries on your assigned Lab Test Means perimeter.
• Perform cost estimations, scheduling baselines, and feasibility studies for upcoming test rig upgrades.
• Coordinate and verify the execution of all hardware and software modifications and architectural corrections on rigs.
• Own level-2 engineering support, driving complex troubleshooting operations for both hardware and software issues.
• Serve as the entry point for simulation models integration while managing all rig-related safety compliance topics.

Your boarding pass

• Proven professional experience in test mean architecture, aircraft systems engineering, or hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
• Broad multi-system technical background including wiring, electrical/electronics, and software integration.
• Hands-on expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting frameworks (familiarity with VCOM tools is a plus).
• Demonstrated track record in technical coordination and small-scale project management (planning and estimation).
• Full professional fluency in French is mandatory, combined with a good command of technical English.
