A leading tech company is seeking a strategic account manager to lead and manage key accounts while exceeding targets and growth plans. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in IT sales and strong negotiation skills. This role also involves mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-level customer engagement. Knowledge of the PC Gaming market is preferred. The position is based in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Account Management.
  • Experience in channel management and yearly T&C negotiations in France.
  • Technical knowledge of the PC Gaming or PC Hardware market preferred.

Responsabilités

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Lead and manage strategic accounts, exceeding targets and growth plans.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans at the country level.

  • Lead country-level Business Review presentations to senior stakeholders.

  • Conduct and finalize contract negotiations with key customers.

  • Define and coordinate promotional calendars and ensure alignment across internal teams (sales, channel marketing, marketing, operations).

  • Create and manage high-impact demand generation plans within key accounts, including oversight of promotional activities and merchandising.

  • Maintain regular competitive pricing analysis of top sellers and highlight concerns to the channel marketing team and local sales manager.

  • Act as a key point of contact for cross-departmental coordination, ensuring smooth internal communication and alignment of sales strategy with marketing and operations teams.

  • Identify strategic business opportunities and provide leadership to execute effectively.

  • Brings relevant experience in gaming, consumer electronics, or entertainment tech.

  • Deliver insights through reporting, analytics, and forecasting tools, and leverage data-driven approaches for decision-making.

  • Proactively identify business risks and swiftly implement mitigation plans.

  • Actively mentor junior members of the sales team, sharing best practices and industry insights.

  • Foster high-level executive relationships within customer organizations, regularly visiting the accounts and engaging with senior stakeholders.

  • Ensure that customers have a strong understanding of Corsair’s products and objectives.

  • Liaise with senior team members to align account strategy with broader corporate objectives.

  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Corsair’s core values.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Must be enthusiastic and dependable

  • +7 years of experience in IT Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Account Management

  • Channel Management experience needed,

  • Ability and experience on dealing yearly T&C’s negociatins with Retail and Etail in France with local rules and law.

  • High experience working with MS Office Suite; proficient in Excel (creating charts, pivot tables, lookup, formulas) is a preference.

  • Experience and technical knowledge of the PC Gaming or PC Hardware market preferred

  • Possesses a passion for technology and is proactive in staying current on the latest products to market

  • Well organized, Team player, process driven with ability to multitask fast and efficiently

  • Ability to prioritise and demonstrate attention to detail with great accuracy

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including experience presenting.

  • Ability to articulate a point of view and negotiate

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

  • Spoken languages to include fluent English

  • Good understanding on P&L and profitability challenges
