Vector Synergy sp. z o.o. in Strasbourg, France, seeks a Security Monitoring Supervisor to coordinate the Security Monitoring Room and reception staff, ensuring adherence to EU-LISA standards and service levels.

The role requires EU citizenship, 3+ years of security experience, English C1 and basic French, plus proven ability to manage access control, CCTV, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Requires post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ security experience, with at least 2 in security operations.
• EU Citizenship and clean conduct record required.
• Experience with access control and CCTV/security systems.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Proficient in English (C1) and French (B1)
• Ability to proofread English communications; run reports and manage security projects.
• Experience managing security guards and reception staff.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Security Monitoring Room personnel and reception staff.
• Monitor guarding activities and perform duties per standards.
• Lead morning and evening site deployment briefings per eu-LISA requirements.
• Ensure daily tasks and patrols are performed by guards and receptionists.
• Contribute to security training and maintain qualifications.
• Manage site access and deliveries; implement access management actions.
• Support ongoing security risk management for eu-LISA premises.
• Perform other security-related activities as needed.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required

• A level of post-secondary education (the equivalent of college or high school) attested by a diploma;
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant professional experience, of which minimum 2 years’ experience in security sector;
• EU Citizenship, and good code of conduct (lack of criminal convictions);
• Previous experience in: implementing good practices in physical security, working on access control systems, working on video surveillance systems (CCTV) or other security and/or safety systems, managing receptionists and / or security guards;
• Excellent usage of MS Office, in particular MS Excel;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (level C1 or higher);
• Some knowledge of French language (level B1 or higher).
• Ability to:
• Proofread communication, documents, draft emails, etc. as needed in English;
• Run reports and handle special security- and safety-related projects, actions or activities as assigned;
• Perform management of security guards, and work in a team;
• Capability of handling access requests for the site and communicating with the stakeholders;
• Capacity of identifying as needed specific vulnerabilities and threats regarding the security and safety of the site and assets;
• Basic knowledge of performing first response in case of an emergency;

Duties/role:

• Coordinating the supervision of all Security Monitoring Room personnel and/or Reception Desk personnel and ensuring the proper completion of all Security Unit duties;
• Monitoring security guarding and reception activities, as well as the operations of security guards and security receptionists;
• Assuring that morning and evening site deployment briefings are conducted as required by eu -LISA and providing guidance on any changes occurring while on duty;
• Ensuring that security guards and security receptionists perform their daily tasks and patrols in accordance with established standards and instructions;
• Contributing to the forecasting, planning, and execution of security training activities for the team, maintaining qualification records and defensive means certifications, and carrying defensive means when on duty and/or as required;
• Coordinating the management of site access and deliveries;
• Implementing the follow-up of corrective and improvement actions identified for access management;
• Contributing to the continuous security risk management process for eu -LISA premises;
• Performing any other security-related activities on eu -LISA premises.
