Job summary

Farfetch is seeking a Junior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join our Porto-based team, developing B2B applications with React, TypeScript, Blazor, and .NET technologies. You’ll collaborate with product and design to deliver intuitive experiences while growing your frontend and backend skills.

You’ll work with experienced engineers, gradually gaining ownership of tasks, writing maintainable code and participating in code reviews to raise the bar on quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational frontend knowledge (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) required.
• Familiar with React, Blazor or modern frontend frameworks from academic or professional work.
• Interest in TypeScript, React, Blazor and .NET ecosystem.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, testable code and Git workflows.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate and own tasks with support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features for B2B apps using React, TypeScript and Blazor.
• Contribute to applications built with JavaScript/TypeScript and C#/.NET with guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver accessible UI experiences.
• Write clean, tested code and build reusable UI components for consistency.
• Integrate frontend with backend services and APIs, participate in code reviews.
