Job summary

Escape is hiring a Junior Full-Stack Engineer for the Paris office. You will work closely with senior engineers to deliver features across the product, with focus on AI-powered cybersecurity and production-ready code.

You’ll develop on frontend (Svelte, TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, GraphQL, Prisma, PostgreSQL), collaborate on security-focused features, and help evolve data models and user workflows. Two remote days per week; two days on site.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience building web applications.
• Understanding of both frontend and backend development.
• Desire to learn TypeScript and modern frameworks like Svelte.
• Familiarity with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and PostgreSQL databases.
• Interest in AI, security, and high-impact products.

Responsibilities

Junior Full-Stack Engineer (Product & Platform) – Paris Office

Location: Paris (75002), 2 days remote per week

Escape is offensive security for the teams that are 100x outnumbered. We build AI agents that find and exploit vulnerabilities in modern applications, APIs, and microservices: the way a real attacker would, but at the speed of a CI pipeline.

About the Role

Your work will help shape the core of Escape’s products. As a Junior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll work closely with senior engineers and technical leads to deliver features and improvements across the product. This is a great learning opportunity for someone early in their engineering career who wants to dive into AI-powered cybersecurity, work across the stack, and see the impact of their work in production.

What You’ll Do

• Develop on both frontend (Svelte + TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, GraphQL, Prisma, PostgreSQL) parts of the product under the mentorship of experienced engineers

• Collaborate on delivering new features and improving the user experience for security teams

• Help maintain and enhance the data model supporting our security products

• Participate in evolving our API and integrating new AI research into real product features

• Learn best practices for database query optimization, pagination, and performance

• Contribute to the user-facing surfaces by helping build intuitive workflows and dashboards
