Job summary

Pigment is seeking a Junior Data and Automations Engineer to help build and maintain Pigment's data platform, including ingestion pipelines, dbt models, and data orchestrations. You will support G&A and GTM data pipelines, automate processes, and contribute to AI-powered data solutions.

You’ll work with senior engineers, handle well-scoped tasks, and grow in a data-driven environment across Finance, People, IT, Sales and Product teams, using English primarily and French as needed.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Solid Python coding skills.
• Understanding of ELT/ETL patterns and data quality testing.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with public cloud data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ingestion pipelines using APIs, databases and SaaS tools.
• Build and maintain dbt models for clean, tested datasets.
• Contribute to orchestration, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Improve data quality, observability and alerting across the platform.
• Develop data pipelines and automations for Finance, People, IT and GTM teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
