Affordable Auto Care is seeking a skilled Mechanic I to assemble, maintain and repair machinery and vehicles, ensuring reliability of engines and mechanical systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide clear maintenance recommendations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with a range of tools, reads blueprints, and can work across different makes and models while maintaining logs of work performed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical systems.
• Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to follow established procedures and read instructions/blueprints.
• Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
• Keep logs of work and report on issues

Mechanic I

Affordable Auto Care is looking for a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of cars, engines, and mechanical systems. Our mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various makes, models and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
