Jobtailor is seeking a Java/Spring Boot developer to help build and evolve the Geosnap platform. You will design and implement features with Angular, contribute to architecture improvements, and translate user needs into maintainable solutions.

The role involves fixing bugs, reducing technical debt, and participating in code reviews within an Agile, multi-stakeholder environment. 1–3 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of software development experience or a significant work-study/internship placement.
• Strong command of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with or solid fundamentals in Angular.
• Comfortable using Git.
• Awareness of development best practices, software quality and testing.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD or Docker is a plus.
• Curious, autonomous and proactive.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the development and evolution of the Geosnap platform.
• Design and implement new features using Java Spring Boot and Angular.
• Continuously improve the product, its architecture and performance.
• Translate user needs into reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Help fix bugs and reduce technical debt.
• Take part in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
