Overview

We are looking for a Java HCL Developer. This is a full remote position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend solutions for business requirements
• Work from development to deployment and support; manage data and code across environments
• Ensure and maintain high standards of quality for technical solutions working across cross-functional teams
• As needed, take part in drafting and executing system test scenarios, builds, and deployments
• As a support team member, troubleshoot and debug production/non-production issues

Qualifications

• Hold a college or university diploma in computer science
• At least five (5) years of experience in Java web application development
• Hands-on experience with HCL Commerce version 9 (required)
• Experience in API creation using HCL v9
• Knowledge or work experience with Lucidworks Fusion (an asset)
• Relevant expertise in JAVA WEB system development
• Expert in Java programming (JEE, EJB, Servlet, JSP, Struts, JSF)
• Experience with Oracle SQL, JS (ES5-6), jQuery, Ajax et CSS (SASS)
• Experience working in an agile environment and good understanding of DevOps tools and techniques (an asset)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills

Other requirements

• Experience with 3rd party integration using REST and SOAP services
• Experience with Solr (an asset)
