ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

As IT System Engineer TS/SCI, you will be expected to perform at the SME or expert level supporting the Government Customer. SIGINT experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide requisite expertise and support in establishing and managing systems engineering functions.
  2. Develop and apply advanced software/systems methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
  3. Plan, conduct and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff.
  4. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions for complex technical problems.
  5. Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity.
  6. Review literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Review project progress and evaluate results.
  7. Recommend corrections in technical applications and analysis.
  8. Specify materials, equipment and supplies required for technical projects.
  9. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
  10. Provide technical consultation to technical staff or other organizations.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field of Study.
  • 8+ years of experience with general systems engineering.
  • Knowledge of requirements management, configuration management, lifecycle readiness management, risk management, and schedule management practices and processes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and high autonomy.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Requirements/Abilities:

  • Strong background in IT Systems Engineering.
  • Strong analytic skills.
