Jobtailor in France seeks a lead engineer to design, manage and support networking architectures and cloud environments. You will verify issues in ND Paris-Lab infrastructure, monitor upgrades and contribute to ISO 27001 security documentation.

You will work both in teams and independently to support growth, integrate cloud infrastructures, and implement continuous improvements across networks and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud-based platforms.
• Linux CLI, user management, and package managers.
• Experience with Windows AD, GPOs, PowerShell, DHCP, DNS, and SMB/File Shares.
• Networking expertise: TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnets, firewalls, DNS, SSL/TLS, VPN.
• Knowledge of OpenShift/OpenStack/KVM/VMware virtualization is a plus.
• Experience with network monitoring tools like Netbox, LibreNMS, Zabbix.
• Ability to automate network configurations."
• Strong communication and organizational skills; drive for continuous improvement.

Work in team and as individual lead engineer that prepares, manages and supports networking architectures and cloud environments. Support growth and integration of cloud infrastructures. Verify and provide solutions for issues in ND Paris-Lab infrastructure, identified within network architectures. Monitor and plan upgrades for ND Paris-Lab network infrastructure. Contribute to security documents required for clearance and ISO 27001 certification.

Requirements

• Experience in cloud-based platforms
• Linux skills: command line (CLI), user management, permissions, and package managers (yum, dnf, apt). Red Hat (RHEL) and Ubuntu Server are industry standards
• Windows: Knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), PowerShell, and core Windows services (DHCP, DNS), File Shares/SMB, Event Logs Research
• Networking skills: TCP/IP stack, routing, switching, subnets, firewalls, DNS, SSL/TLS, Certificates, VPN, WhiteList/BlackList
• Nice to have:
• Knowledge about networking for OpenShift/OpenStack/KVM/VMware Virtualization
• Network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Netbox, LibreNMS, Zabbix)
• Base programming skills to automate network configurations
• Good communications and organizational skills
• Ambition to identify and implement improvements, procedures & documentation to support a continuous improvement environment

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in cloud-based platforms and networking architectures, with strong Linux and Windows skills, including Active Directory and network monitoring tools. Capable of contributing to security documentation for ISO 27001 certification and implementing continuous improvement processes.
