Job summary

CMA CGM in Marseille is offering a 6-month IT Finance Internship in the IT Controlling team. You will work under an IT Controller to help structure, formalize, optimize, and implement new working methods.

You will map current processes, analyze practices, and identify improvement opportunities, gaining hands-on experience in continuous improvement, process transformation, and management control within a dynamic Finance & IT environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree or Bac+4/Bac+5 in Finance, Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and written communication skills.
• Organized, rigorous, and able to work independently.
• Enjoy teamwork and thrive in fast-changing environments.
• Curious about AI and digital tools, with ability to identify and experiment with solutions to improve, automate, or simplify processes.
• Curiosity, adaptability and quick learning will be key assets for succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities

• Mapping, analyzing, and improving the team’s processes and workflows.
• Supporting transformation projects through documentation, formalization, and standardization of working methods.
• Identifying and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives.
• Preparing presentation materials, dashboards, and management reports.
• Coordinating with various stakeholders across the Finance and IT teams.
• Supporting closing activities and financial analyses to gain a strong understanding of the IT Controlling environment and its business challenges.
